No information was obtained from informants as to such objects. Specimen 15-5819, Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation, is a modern object from Yosemite valley, and is reputed to be a love charm. It consists of a necklace composed of six toes, probably cottontail rabbit toes, with fur and claws. The toes are separated by pieces of whitish root cut as beads. Between each two toes are two to four pieces of root.
